Having a career spanning more than six decades, Gigliola Cinquetti is the first Italian artist to be awarded the Eurovision Song Contest trophy in 1964. Originally from Verona, Gigliola Cinquetti sang in eight languages, her songs being distributed in over 120 countries. Her latest album, “20.12”, was released in 2015.
“I gladly received the invitation to participate in the Golden Stag Festival 2018. It is an event that will write history for Romania and music from all over Europe. For me, the Festival was a huge step in my long career after I first came here, in a wintry landscape. The return to Braşov, 50 years later this summer, gives me an incredible excitement”,said Gigliola Cinquetti about returning to the Golden Stag Festival.
