August 29 - Golden Stag 2018. Anniversary Gala
The first evening is a celebration of the laureates of the Golden Stag Festival, from Gigliola Cinquetti, Luminița Dobrescu to Paula Seling, Monica Anghel, Corina Chiriac, Laurențiu Cazan, Nico, Doru Tufiș, Proconsul, Ovi, Luminița Anghel, Narcisa Suciu, Răzvan Krivach. The inaugural evening will host recitals of Gigliola Cinquetti, fado singer Paulo Bragança, The Humans and Andra.
August 30 - Golden Stag 2018. Contest & Recitals
On the second evening of the festival, the 18 contestants will be on stage, performing the first song of the two in competition. The recitals will be held by Linda and Flavius Teodosiu, Loredana and Amy Macdonald.
31 August - Golden Stag 2018. Contest & Recitals
On the third evening of the festival, the contestants will perform the second song, a Romanian melody of their choice. Together with the 18 contestants on stage, all the evening will be the Romanian Broadcasting Band and the Brasov Opera Orchestra, conducted by Ionel and Andrei Tudor. Horia Brenciu & HB Orchestra, Delia and James Blunt will be in recitals.
September 1 - Golden Stag 2018. Golden Stag Gala
The fourth evening of the festival will held the Golden Stag awards and recitals: Nicole Scherzinger, Edvin Marton, The Motans, Eleni Foureira, Carla’s Dreams.
September 2 - Golden Stag 2018. Romania Centenar
The last evening of the festival is a majestic show of Romanian folklore with special moments held, among others, by Cornelia and Lupu Rednic, Ionut Fulea, Niculina Stoican, Viorica Macovei, Lăutarii Orchestra conducted by master Nicolae Botgros and Grigore Leșe.
For the first time at Golden Stag this year, folklore will be reinterpreted in modern key by Damian Drăghici and Alex Calancea. The evening ends with a historical evocation project. Toți K1 pentru România.
