Irish star Ronan Keating – headliner of the Golden Stag Festival

After worldwide success with Boyzone, Ronan Keating pursued a successful solo career with hits like "When You Say Nothing at All" and now, on August 24th, he will take center stage at the Golden Stag!

  • Hits  "When You Say Nothing at All" or "If Tomorrow Never Comes" will be heard in Piaţa Sfatului.
  • The artist will perform on Saturday, August 24th, closing the Gala evening.

Irish star Ronan Keating, who sold tens of millions of albums, both as a solo artist and as a member of a famous boy band, will have an unforgettable performance at the Golden Stag Festival, organised by the Romanian National Television.

The evening will be one high on emotion, as we will find out the winners of the 2019 edition. This very evening, we will sing together with Ronan Keating some of the most romantic songs

Our aim was to bring to the Golden Stag an artist loved by audiences of all ages. Is there anyone who hasn't danced at least once to his songs? We are happy to continue the tradition of premium performances at the Golden Stag and to offer our public  concerts of top artists such as Ronan Keating”, declared Smaranda Vornicu-Shalit, director of the  Festival.

Singer, composer, jury member and vocal coach for various international talent shows, Ronan Keating has an impressive career. He was the  leader of Boyzone and together with them, released numerous hits, seven studio albums and sold 25 million copies.

In 2000,  he started his solo career by releasing no less than ten albums, sold in over 20 million copies.

His single "When You Say Nothing at All" from the soundtrack of the movie Notting Hill has been heard all over the world and reached No.1 in tops from many countries.

In Australia he is well known as a juror on shows such as X Factor and All Together Now and as a vocal coach for „The Voice” (2016).

The 19th edition of the Festival will take place in the period 22 – 25 August, in Braşov, and the organisers have prepared performances with great artists from Romania and from abroad. The first artists who have been announced are Ştefan Bănică jr. and Irina Rimes. Still, there will be more surprises to come!

Besides the performances of the invited stars, the 12 finalists of the international interpretation contest will do their best on stage in order to win one of the awards of the contest. The total amount of the awards is over 55 thousand euro.

TVR prepared a special format for this year's competitors: two days of contest, an Award Ceremony and other related events.

The Festival will end with a folk show which will reunite the Romanian traditional folk music with modern features of this musical genre.

The event will be broadcast live and exclusively by the Romanian Television.

Tickets for the Golden Stag contest festival have been put on sale.

The organisers are offering several categories of tickets for the four days, with prices starting from 70 lei. These are available on Eventim.ro, UPC.ro and in the network of the partner stores : Vodafone, Telekom, Carrefour, OMV gas-stations,

Cărtureşti, Diverta and Humanitas bookshops. Also, the tickets can be purchased from the Eventim ticket office from Cluj - Iulius Mall and from Bucharest- Cinema PRO. The tickets can be bought with the option to be delievered by courier, by personal pick up from the ticket office, print-at-home (in pdf format) or in e-ticket format (ticket on mobile phone) with 0 costs.
