Two of the most appreciated Romanian artists who make sold-out concerts and who have won the musical charts, will open the series of performances of the 2019 edition of the Golden Stag, the greatest international interpretation festival organised in Romania. The first invited artists who will climb the stage are Ştefan Bănică jr. and Irina Rimes! The tickets for the Festival have been put on sale.
The 19th edition of the Golden Stag will have a full start! In the first evening, on August 22nd, Ştefan Bănică jr. will rise the audience to its feet, as he does in his every single concert. With 16 author records, with more than 30 videos, songs which have become classic hits, thousands of sold out concerts all throughout the country, Ştefan Bănică jr. returns on the stage from Brasov, with an electrifying performance. „I am glad that the tradition of the Golden Stag continues. I have many beautiful memories related to the Brasov Festival, whether I had performances, or I have seen and listened to international artists I have never dreamt of, especially at the beginning of the 90’s”, has the artist declared „This year I have answered with great pleasure to the invitation of having a performance. I will sing together with “Rock’n roll band “and with the vocal group “The 50's” and I hope this concert will bring joy to all the generations present at the show and to the audience as well. So, let’s paint the town red, once again!” has Ştefan ended.
The next day, on August 23rd, it is Irina Rimes’ turn to climb the stage from Piaţa Sfatului! The only Romanian artist who has launched a special project – the first musical trilogy „Iubiri secrete” – „Secret love”, Irina confesses that she has always dreamt to perform within the Golden Stag. „I always wanted to sing within this contest. But life has arranged it even more beautiful for me... to come and make a performance of my own. We promise an original, interesting and inspired show”, has the young artist declared.
These will not be the only performances and special musical moments of the festival. The organizers promise that the public will also see on the stage of the Festival some loved Romanian and foreign artists. Besides the performances of the invited stars, 12 finalists of the international interpretation contest will try to win one of the awards in a total amount of 55 thousand euro.

The organisers have put on sale several categories of tickets for the four days of the Festival – Golden Stag Club, VIP, Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3 and subscriptions, with prices starting from 70 de lei. These are available on Eventim.ro, UPC.ro and in the network of the partner stores: Vodafone, Telekom, Carrefour, OMV gas stations, and in Cărtureşti, Diverta and Humanitas bookshops. Also, the tickets can be bought from the Eventim ticket offices from Cluj – Iulius Mall and from Bucharest - Cinema PRO. The tickets can be bought with the option of being delivered by courier (companies specialized in delivering packages), they can be picked up from the ticket office, print-at-home (in PDF format) or in e-ticket format (ticket on the mobile phone) with 0 costs.
This year, the Golden Stag Festival will take place in the period 22-25 August and TVR’s team has prepared a format with 2 days of contest, an award Ceremony and other related events.
In the end of the show we will have the chance to see a folk show which will reunite the Romanian traditional folk music and a modern mix of this musical genre
The event will be broadcast live and exclusively by Romanian Television.

About Ştefan Bănică jr.
Stefan has graduated the Institute of Theatrical and Cinematographic Arts, Bucharest, class teacher. Ion Cojar (1985-1989). Actor, singer, composer, lyric- writer and orchestrator, Ştefan Bănică jr, has launched no less than 16 author records, more than 30 videos, has played roles in tens of theatre shows and has been host and presenter in famous TV shows and a jury member and a mentor for „X Factor”. Stefan Banica has performed tens of concerts with hundreds of thousands of spectators – for example, his Christmas concerts, which have become a tradition.

Irina Rimes is the only Romanian artist who has launched a unique project: the first musical trilogy. „Iubiri secrete” is written from the bottom of the heart and had its inspiration source from the personal experiences of the artist herself.
She has written hits for artists such as: INNA, Andra, Antonia, Alina Eremia, DJ Sava or Raluka.
Irina has also launched her first visual album in Romania, „Despre El” – “About him”, followed by an album-book „Cosmos”, illustrated with original poetry and fully sold out only a few days after its release.
She is a jury member at „Vocea României” – “The Voice of Romania“, which has reached its second season. Irina Rimes has conquered radio and TV tops, even from the release on the musical market.

The Golden Stag International Festival had its debut in 1968 and had 18 editions. The last edition has been organised in 2018 and celebrated 50 years from its debut. The event has become the greatest International Music Festival in Romania, being traditionally organised in Brașov city.
