Omer is a virtuoso guitarist with a voice that you cannot ignore.
Omer Netzer’s first album, “Goodbye Song”, included hits such as “Angel”, “Couldn’t love you more” and the title track “Goodbye song”, all played frequently on major radio stations. Meanwhile, Omer performed all over the country to packed audiences and was invited to perform at festivals not only in Israel, but also in Berlin, the USA, Lithuania, Switzerland and Moscow.
Furthermore, Omer did collaboration with one of the leading broadcasters in Israel, Noy Alush, and the two created a remix for Omer’s hit “Couldn’t love you more” from the “Goodbye Song” album. Slowly the song made waves throughout Europe and was purchased by several leading music companies – Warner in Russia, Rotton Music in Romania, Spain (Clippers Sound) and Turkey (Yeni Dunia).
Omer’s second album, “Sweet Mistake” proves without a doubt that his success with the first album is not only justified, but also marks Omer as one of the most important and fascinating musicians with a powerful vocal presence and a hypnotic stage charisma.
This August, Omer performs at the International Music Festival Sziget, alongside top international artists. His song “Trouble Maker” has been chosen to promote the festival and the city with a charming video clip. In addition the song promotes the festival through social media in the media game “Sziget mission love revolution”.
The videoclip of Omer’s song “I can stand it” won first place in the videoclip category at the Catharsis International Film Festival in Belgium, where it was chosen as the best video of 2018!
Omer has been invited to open for Albert Lee, Riley Walker and recently for the folk-pop group Milky Chance.
“Omer Netzer is the kind of artist that Israel should export with pride. His songs are catchy without being over sentimental; he knows how to build the layers and to present them in a way that all can appreciate. It’s clear that this guy knows a thing or two about how to create a folk-rock hit! (YNET)
“This album could have been produced in the USA. It brings to mind Chris Cornell or Pearl Jam” (Kutner, Galei Tzahal Radio)
“Omer Netzer wins hearts again…in the last few years it’s been impossible to ignore his magical voice, which is heard non-stop on various radio stations. (Mako)
